Edward has been with MCDI since 2014 as a director and part of the technical teams. He is an Organisational Development Expert and an HR generalist.

Stephen is a seasoned public sector management and Education planning specialist who has contributed to the team immensely through his competency areas of Human Resources Planning, Administrative and Labour laws, Public Service Policy design and development, Human Resources for Health, Training for public sector, Occupational safety and health, and Job Analysis. Stephen also brings to the team the flavor of team leadership, coordination, motivation, and steering for action. His experience in the Uganda Public service, having risen from low ranks to the senior levels of Commissioner for Human Resources Management and Planning in the Judiciary, Health, and Education sectors, makes him a unique asset for clients' needs.

Cornelius brings to the team very rich experience, providing solutions to our clients in areas of Risk Audit, Organisational analysis, Corporate governance, Strategic and Business analysis, among other solutions to managing government and civil society organisations. Cornelius brings to the team other competences such as Balanced Scorecard; Risk Management; Organisation Assessment & Development; Corporate Governance & Board Evaluation; Strategic Management; Strategic Human Resource Management; Leading Change & Change Management; Training of Trainers; Rights Based Approaches to Management; Project Management; Participatory Management.

Dr Oketcho is a seasoned Health Systems and Community Health expert, with over 20 years work experience in Africa. Dr Oketcho has spearheaded the implementation of several HRH and public health projects funded by among others, PEPFAR, USAID, The European Union, Ireland Aid, and the Canadian International Development Aid. Until December 2019 he worked as the Country Director of IntraHealth International in Uganda and Chief of Party of the PEPFAR funded Strengthening Human Resources for Health project. In his ten years of work with IntraHealth, Dr Oketcho has spearheaded one of the most successful integrated HRH programs with interventions in health workforce policy and planning, health workforce education and training, and health work force management and performance management for a quality and performing health workforce.

Juliet has amassed over eighteen (18) years' working experience, nine (9) of which was in Secondary School teaching, six (6) in general Human Resource Management, in Commercial Banking; and about four (4) years in Human Resource Management, within the Road sector. She has honed skills in Human Resource Management both at generalist and specialist levels, growing up the career ladder as a strategic leader. Julie's greater part of Human Resource professional experience has been developed in highly competitive, multi-cultural environments where the pace of change has been rapid and the frequency constant. This has equipped her to become a key change agent; which has presented opportunities that contributed greatly to broadening and deepening of her HR knowledge, experience and consulting skills. She has also been part of the team that established the Human Resource Directorate at Uganda National Roads Authority (U) making her a key asset on our team.

Lazarus is seasoned Public sector management expert. And comes with a wealth of experience to the firm, augmenting the team's diversity on solving the Public Private Partnership programs for development. He specializes in Local Government Mentoring; Management and Leadership; Implementation of the African Public Service Charter and its Enabling Instruments; Millennium Development Goals Capacity Building; Monitoring and Evaluation; Public Sector Capacity Development; Service Contract Management; Procurement and Contract Management; and Mentorship Local Governments

Simon is a seasoned Public Management expert with a wealth of experience having served at various levels in the Uganda Public service from officer levels to Commissioner of HR, a senior government official level. Simon has also served as advisor to the government of South Sudan during the reconstruction and rebuilding of institutions in RoSS. He has also served with International NGOs including the USAID projects like IntraHealth and Palladium which were managing the Human Resource for Health programme at the Ministry of Health.

Kugonza has over 18 years' experience in Project Planning and Implementation in varied capacities. He has worked in projects as a Project Planner, Manager and Administrator in Government Departments, District Development Programmes and various Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs). While working with Irish Aid, Kugonza lead a team of experts to develop guidelines for Government-NGO partnerships and accountability procedures for Kibaale District Development Programme (KDDP), which become standard operating procedures for other Irish AID District Development Programmes. In the Church of Uganda decentralized (Diocesan) planning and development, which was initiated 1984/85, Mr Kugonza was a key resource person in developing guidelines and operating manuals for church development workers including training in fundraising techniques. On special consultancy assignment for twelve (12) months, 1998/99, Kugonza worked with the Danish International Co-operation (DANIDA) to set up the Farmers' Organisations Secretariat, an institution that worked to develop the capacities of farmers' associations to forge meaningful partnerships with the rest of the private sector and government in modernizing the Ugandan economy.

Paddy is a specialist in financial risk management, design and implementation of controls for client organisations. He also has a wealth of experience implementing Balance Score Card and Results Based Planning; Financial Literacy trainings; Financial Consumer Protection; Public Private Cooperation; Project Management; Navision Attain systems; Survey Design and Data Analysis; and A+ PC Support for computer hardware.

Teddy is a seasoned social sector planning team member. She has special competences she brings to our team including: Strategic Planning and Management; Policy formulation and review processes; Program Planning, Management and coordination; Capacity building for individuals, CBOs, NGOs, Government departments, and Nations focusing on Curriculum Development, Training of Trainers and Master Trainers, direct service providers, Mentorship and Coaching programs in HIV/AIDS prevention, Care, Treatment and support at all levels including OVC care; Monitoring and Evaluation of development programs; Grants/Cooperative Agreement Management skills and donor liaison skills with particular focus to USG- PEPFAR (USAID and CDC) and GFTAM supported programs.

Willy is an HRM professional whose experience and exposure spans a spectrum of sectors in the Uganda Public Service (public Service, Police, Customs, IGG), private sector Global-woods AG, Continental Forests Limited) and non-profit making (Save the Children, Lutheran World Federation) and Nile Basin Initiative, and Global Water Partnership undertakings. Willy has worked with a wide range of professionals in these multi sectoral and multicultural settings both at national, regional and international levels. He has also provided technical support and professional consultancies to a range of institutions on institutional development and Management.
